At Musigati Communal High School, 34 out of 79 student orphans have successfully completed the 2022-2023 school year thanks to the generosity of the "Abawukanyi" association. The Musigati community diaspora association not only provided essential school supplies to the students but also promised to pay tuition fees for the entire academic year
The uplifting event took place on September 19, 2023, when representatives from "Abawukanyi" arrived bearing gifts of notebooks and a pledge to financially support the Books to help students in their educational journey to ensure they received them tools needed to excel academically.
But the kindness of "Abawukanyi" did not stop. In recognition of the energy and determination of these young students who recently formed a rabbit farming cooperative, the association presented them with an unexpected reward – 60 rabbits not only earning potential, but also encouraging them to pursue agricultural pursuits in addition to their studies.
Musigati Communal High School has faced many challenges over the years, the influx of several orphaned students only added to the problem and sponsoring "Abawukanyi" does not seem like a financial burden on these young scholars not only reduces but also gives hope and inspiration for a brighter future
"Awukanyi" has shown his determination to make a positive impact on the Musigati community even remotely. The community in Musigati appreciates the unwavering support of "Abawukanyi", which goes beyond borders and overcomes the challenges faced by these orphaned students.
